I Voted...and that other thing

I took the girls voting this morning. Muffin was asking lots of questions - and I was attempting to explain the electoral college to a 5 year old. She's smart - but even at 31, I'm still not getting it either :)

But I really don't want to chat about voting (although I have a great story - I'll have to share tomorrow). I want to talk about my husband.

7 years ago today, I married my love. He is an amazing husband - not just by the stuff he does (dishes, cleaning toilets, fixing things - all the stuff I hate to do) but by the love he gives me no matter what his mood is like. He's having a bad day? He'll still come up and give me a hug. I just can't beat that.

I never thought I'd love a man this much - enough that I didn't get tired of him or want to run away. And I never thought I'd love him more than when I married him. But I do. I love him more every day that we are together.

Oh, don't get me wrong - he's not perfect. But in my eyes - he's as close for me as you can get.

Happy Anniversary Baby. Here's to many, many more.
