I always teased that I wanted the perfect number of children - 2.3. And the 1/3 of the child would be always happy inside.
Now, I don't think I'd want to be pregnant at the first trimester for the rest of my life. Ugh.
But having a portion of a child...well - that's a different story.
We had an u/s today. Two beautiful sacs - each with a yolk sac. One only with an actual 'fetal pole' in it (with heartbeat!). The other one - nothing yet. The nurse said it could be a bit too early - but they can't rule anything out quite yet.
So right now, I'm at 1.5 :)

wow.. having twins would be staggering to me. Both in a good way and in an oh-dear-lord-how-am-I-going-to-do-that way.
But of course,one definite heartbeat is really good news.. I'm happy for you!
Yay for one heartbeat, fingers crossed that you get to see the second one next time.
