I love my husband, don't get me wrong. He has lots of wonderful qualities that make him a huge catch. He's a great father, funny, caring - will clean toilets and dishes (not at the same time, thank G-d!).
But I've been absolutely ANNOYED with him lately.
Why wash all but two dishes? Why leave those same two dishes sitting there for a WEEK without washing them - but wash everything else around them? Do you not see them?
Why throw the girls' bathroom rug in with our clothes? Why would you put fuzzies all over everything?
Why say you're going to take care of cleaning the garage - but only pick up four things? Did you not think that all the other things sitting there needed to be put away too? And then you give ME a dirty look when I suggest that we finish it???
I'm not perfect, but boy do I get perfectly annoyed at this. Ugh.

Can I sell them on EBay????
I love to read the paper in the morning. Sit down, eat breakfast and try to ignore my children while I focus on something other than "She's touching me" or "If I wanted to spell 'excellent sentence' - how would I spell that?".
This morning was no different (except that Steve was also trying to do the same thing - he's just not as good at ignoring them). An article I read made me stop and actually have a conversation.
According to the National Institutes of Health, scientists now can use fertility clinic left-over embryos for stem cell research. I have left over embryos. I read this to Steve and he said (with that twinkle in his eye) "Now can we sell them on EBay?".
We actually had a discussion about the difference between me selling my eggs as an egg donor (which I have not done - but others do) and me selling our embryos for research.
Thoughts??? Would you donate your left overs? Sell them?? Put them on EBay? (Would EBay totally take that down??) :)

Do I get a vote?
I was laying in bed with Muffin and Bear cuddling last night. The Boy was moving around - dancing like he was listening to music (or the beat of my heart was his beat??). Muffin looked at me and asked "Are we going to have more babies? Because I'd like to have more." I looked at her in shock and asked if we could deal with the one we have coming first.
"But do I get a vote on this? Because I think we should have more."
I didn't have the heart to tell her that she doesn't.
